How far in advance should we book?
As early as possible! Our calendar fills up quickly - we recommend reaching out at least 6 months to 1 year before your wedding date to check our availability. For milestone celebrations at least 4-6 weeks ahead.
What determines pricing?
Every Sweet Pea cake is custom, with pricing based on size, servings, and design complexity. Cakes start at $9-$10 before design and customizations and go up from there. Contact us for an quote.
Do you deliver?
We offer delivery throughout Southern California and serve the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara and Temecula (weekends). We deliver Thursdays to Sundays.
What are your order minimums?
Order minimums for delivery (not including delivery fees)
MILESTONE CELEBRATIONS
Birthdays, Anniversaries, Showers, Corporate Events
Order minimum: $350
(Applies to custom celebration cakes and desserts)
WEDDINGS & LARGER EVENTS
Los Angeles County
$500 for Thursday & Friday weddings
$1,000 for weekend weddings
Orange County and Ventura
$1000 Thursday-Sunday weddings
Santa Barbara and Temecula
$2,000 for weekend weddings
$2,500 for weekend weddings in peak season
Do you make wheat free or vegan cakes?
Any of our flavors can be made wheat-free for an additional fee. Vegan options are not available at this time as we continue to perfect our recipes to meet our standards of flavor and quality.
Please note that we do not make custom flavors.
Do you have a cake shop?
No, we are a licensed and insured home-based cake shop located in La Cañada Flintridge, CA in Los Angeles County. CFO Permit No. LA19F230046
Do you have cakes readily available for pickup?
We don’t currently offer ready-made cakes, as each cake is custom designed and made to order. However, we’re working on a seasonal dessert counter menu featuring smaller cakes for casual or intimate celebrations — available with a 5-day lead time/pre-order before pickup.
