To secure your event date, a signed agreement and retainer are required. This reserves your place on our calendar as we move into the design phase.​
Tasting & Design
The best part of wedding planning!
Tastings with Melanie are held by appointment at our private studio in La Cañada Flintridge. During your one-hour consultation, you’ll enjoy a curated tasting of your selected flavors, presented as petite cake rounds and designed to serve 2–4 guests.

Together, we’ll review your inspiration, refine design details, and thoughtfully begin crafting a cake that reflects your celebration and personal style. This is where your cake truly begins to take shape.
Final Details
and delivery
As your event approaches, we’ll confirm your final guest count, design details, and logistics with your planner or coordinator. Final balance is due three weeks prior to your event.

Your cake is designed to feel effortless within your celebration, while still holding a quiet presence of its own. From studio to display, each cake is handled with care. Our team personally delivers and styles every cake on-site to ensure a seamless and beautiful presentation. When a kitchen cake is included, a serving guide is provided to your caterer for smooth and effortless service.
